Beacon Lake Closure to Motorized Boats

Due to decreasing water levels, Beacon Lake will be closed to all motorized vessels and boats starting October 3, 2025. This measure is necessary to protect both safety and the condition of the lake during this period of low water.

While motorized boats will not be permitted, non-motorized watercraft such as kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards will still be allowed. We encourage residents to continue enjoying the lake in these safe and sustainable ways.

We will continue to monitor conditions closely and provide updates on when motorized vessel access may resume. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us preserve Beacon Lake for everyone’s enjoyment.
