Beacon Lake Update

Published: May 09, 2025

The Mountain Lakes Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Beacon Lake will reopen for "No Wake" boating this Sunday, May 11. Thanks to recent rainfall, the lake level has risen to 930.6 MSL and is approaching our safe boating target of 932 MSL, as determined by our engineering consultants.

To protect the integrity of the dam, a "No Wake'' policy will be strictly enforced. Violators will receive a warning followed by a fine of $250 per occurrence. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us preserve this important community resource.

Boat Registration Reminder

If your boat has not been registered in the past six months, please do so at www.mountainlakestx.com.

Lake Safety Guidelines

An updated list of safety guidelines will be posted on the website in the coming days and at the Beacon Lake boat ramp.
